CART ELECTRIC SHOPPING CART
Since 1995, Bentley Fielden have been exclusive
UK Distributors of the Mart Cart, the Number
One best selling electric shopping cart in the USA and Canada.
The latest model is the Xti (above), and is like no other shopping
cart in the World. Amongst it’s innovations are:
- Patented hub drive motor. The front wheel actually is the
motor – literally a motor within the wheel.
- This means much tighter turns in congested aisles –
no awkward backing up. It actually turns within the diameter
of the rear axle, meaning 180 degree turns in narrow spaces.
- Power is drawn off at a minimum, extending conventional battery
life by 50%. Less energy used means the battery lasts longer
and cost less in replacements.
- 12 volt motor means that a single smaller battery not only
gives enough power, but will double the life of batteries on
conventional carts and scooters which have to use 2 batteries
- the XTi Model’s (single) battery life is 4 years against
(two) batteries life of 2 years on conventional carts and scooters.

Comfort and safety are built in, with seat with
padded armpads, and rear lumbar support. Multiple safety stop
systems are integral to the XTi cart as standard.
The Mart Cart is always supplied in a Store’s colours and

disabled shoppers, who can enjoy independent shopping at their
favourite supermarket.

CARECHAIRS – WHEELCHAIRS WITH INTEGRAL BASKETS
These revolutionary Carechairs, imported from
USA and pioneered in the UK by Asda, give customers much more
freedom to shop, either independently or with a partner.
Instead of the difficult, cumbersome front trolley
attachments to conventional wheelchairs still used in many retail
outlets, with difficult manoeuverability, the Carechair
has a front lightweight pivoting basket, and two rear baskets.
Storage space is much reduced, as no front trolleys
are ever needed again, and the fully opened Carechair only takes
up 15cms more than a basic wheelchair!
What’s more, with integrated baskets, theft
of a standard wheelchair is a thing of the past - huge savings
in replacement costs for any supermarket.
