How to order?

Make sure that the product you purchase is the correct size and check it is correct size for your doorframe if applicable. Our Ramp Guide is there to help you decide which ramp is best suited for your needs.

• We accept all major credit & debit cards, for delivery within 3 working days.
• Payment by cheque is fine, but please allow 7-10 working days for cheque clearance and delivery.
• All orders will receive a written acknowledgment by return, with current delivery indications.

Shipping

All ramps are individually boxed. Additional cost of £8.00 to cover postage and packing costs on each (multiple orders £4.00 for every item thereafter).

Guide to size

Government guidelines for fixed concrete ramps would generally use a gradient of 1 in 12 - e.g. a 3" height would require a 36" ramp length.

However, this is a guideline, and not a legal requirement. If space permits, this is the ideal guide, but unfortunately, the height is often too high to allow such a length - particularly on narrow footpaths etc.

Where only occasional use is required we have found that with a portable ramp, for powered scooters / electric wheelchairs (or a manual wheelchair with assistance) a gradient of 1 in 6 is adequate. (e.g. - a 6" step requires a 36" ramp).

VAT Exemption

The order will be processed when Bentley Fielden Ltd receive a completed VAT Exemption Form through the post. VAT will be invoiced as usual on business to business deliveries.

For any order by an individual with a scooter or wheelchair, where the ramp is for personal use, the ramps can be supplied without VAT. Make sure that the VAT Exemption Form is completed and signed by the user, and sent to us with the order requirements.

Returns policy

In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations Bentley Fielden Ltd gives customers a 7 day "cooling off" period in which orders can be returned after the delivery date. Upon receipt of the goods, if you require to return/exchange the product(s) you will be personally responsible for return delivery incurring any delivery cost. We do recommend that you pay for a tracked/signed delivery for your protection. If you would like to return or exchange your products please contact our Refunds & Exchanges department on 01706 815175 Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm who will note down your request and action accordingly.

Any returned product(s) must be complete, unused, in an undamaged state and returned in their original outer packaging. Bentley Fielden Ltd reserves the right to charge for repair, replacement or repackaging of any products not returned in their original condition. This charge may include the cost of parts, materials, packaging, labour and any subsequent loss to Bentley Fielden Ltd

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site using a "cookies" stored on your browser.
